Upgrading the minimum VMs: 5GiB more disk for everyone for free
As the title says it: we are upgrading all VMs with 5GiB more disk space. That also means our basic offer now includes 10GiB instead of 5GiB.
We will perform this upgrade automatically in the next hours. This means your monthly price stays the same while getting more resources.
Why are we doing this? In our preparation for the next operating system update we saw that our OS takes up a lot of space from the initial 5GiB we provide. To make this a little less surprising and to enable some VMs that got stuck with the little space they had while upgrading, we decided to simply increase the minimal amount of disk space to get everything unstuck and make the situation more relaxed for everyone.
